Meet Sam

Sam’s love for animals and nature is at the heart of Willow Tree Farm. Her compassion for animals in need is one of the things that makes Willow Tree Farm unique.

Over the past four years, Sam has not only renovated the farm but has also created a home for many animals in need. Her dedication to both her guests and her animals creates a welcoming environment that guests love.

Meet the ‘team’

Jasper

Jasper the Donkey is a delightful addition to the farm, braying joyfully and adding his unique charm. He lives with Willow, a rescued Camillo mare.

Willow

Willow the Camillo mare was rescued by Sam from a neglectful life of pulling carts and living without shelter. She has the best hair on the estate and loves being fed carrots by guests.

Paco and Polly

Roaming freely around the farm, the peacocks add splashes of colour and elegance. Watch for Paco’s spectacular display and listen to Polly’s, (AKA, Mrs P’s) gentle calls.

Rocky

Rocky the Cockerel leads the flock of hens around the estate. You may hear Rocky’s crowing or see him proudly strutting his stuff around the estate.

Lucy

The farm hosts several sheep, Lucy, in particular, stands out. She answers to her name and has been a bottle-fed kitchen resident, making her and her flock tame and friendly.

Marmalade

Marmalade the Jersey Cow is another guest favourite with her gentle nature and beautiful appearance.

Matilda and Mabel

Matilda, Mabel and friends are a group of cows that have all been nurtured at the farm, creating more friendly faces for guests to meet.

Jerry and Izzy

Jerry and Izzy live together in retirement, offering guests the joy of feeding them carrots and enjoying their gentle companionship.

Bring Your Own Animals to Willow Tree Farm

The gardens are properly secured, allowing your dogs to run safely. You can even bring your horses to stay in our on-site stables.

This personal, pet-friendly approach, combined with the farm’s beautiful countryside setting, creates a one-of-a-kind experience. Bridging the gap between luxury and homely comfort.

An absolutely stunning destination for any getaway. We had twelve of us staying (including kids) and were extremely comfortable, never tripping over each other. Immaculately kept indoors and outside, with subtle but beautiful decoration, every room was spacious and comfortable, light and airy.
